Terry Tuttle, CPA
Terry J. Tuttle CPA, is a founding partner of Tuttle & Tuttle PLLC. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and became a CPA while working at the international accounting firm Deloitte. He has extensive hands on experience in all phases of accounting and tax preparation for individuals as well as corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates including business consulting, CFO for hire, debt restructuring and IRS dispute resolution.
Prior to creating Tuttle & Tuttle PLLC, Terry served in several Senior Financial Executive roles (CFO, COO and Controller) in both public and private companies focusing on improving profitability through Mergers and Acquisitions as well as cost reduction and profit improvement through re-engineering, contract negotiations, crisis management, team building and leadership expertise. This experience has enabled him to effectively advise and assist entrepreneurs and small business owners as well as small and large corporations in developing and implementing both tax and operational cost saving strategies.
Terry also spent 12 years as a CPA firm partner specializing in individual and corporate taxation as well as assisting entrepreneurs and small businesses with accounting, finance, tax, cash flow, budgeting and reporting needs as an interim CFO or CFO for hire. He grew his personal accounting and tax practice from 135 clients to over 500 clients which included corporations and partnerships as well as individuals. During that time, he founded Weston & Tuttle Wealth Advisors, providing financial and estate planning, investment strategies and wealth management services and held Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
He has served on boards of both non-profit and for profit entities and is very involved in church and civic activities.
Terry's family consists of his wife, Donna, a son living in New York, three daughters currently attending University and two sons in High School. Terry and his family love to travel and are avid participants of white-water rafting, running, and just about any other sport or outdoor activity imaginable. Terry's greatest thrills in life have come from being a husband and father, climbing Mt. Whitney (the highest peak in the continental U.S.) several times and running marathons.
